My photography journey began in 2008 when I enrolled in night classes at Glasgow City College. Starting with an introduction to digital photography, I quickly progressed onto mastering portraiture. While I took a break from photography for a few years, I never lost my love for it and continued to practice as a hobby. In 2019, I made the confident decision to switch careers and pursue my passion as a professional photographer. After completing my studies at West College Scotland, I applied for a BA (Hons) program at Edinburgh City and proudly graduated from there.
My educational background in photography and diverse training in various types of photography has allowed me to specialize in portraiture, which is where my true passion lies.
I am based in Glasgow and work on location. I am also working out of Studio 10 which is based in Govan Glasgow. Studio sessions are a superior option for clients as they offer the convenience of multiple costume changes and a dedicated space for changing during the shoot. Location shoots are fantastic because you have the freedom to choose a backdrop that complements your photo session.
My goal is to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for my clients during their photography sessions. I love capturing the essence of their stories through my portraits, and you can see the narrative come alive in their eyes. Recently, I was honoured to receive two awards of excellence from the Master Photographer Awards (MPA) in 2023.
I specialize in dramatic portraits, but I am also proficient in other types of portrait styles, including grunge, editorial, fashion, and corporate headshots. Additionally, I offer services for weddings and family group photo sessions. I am willing to travel anywhere in Scotland and England to work with my clients.
